>Apple Cider Vinegar
With amazing healing properties apple cider works wonders for a glowing complexion & at keeping the skin supple. It also works to break down fat, helping food digest properly. ACV is made from crushed apples & allowed to mature in wooden barrels which boosts its natural fermentation. It has a shelf life of 3-5 years. For best results it is suggested that one should consume the following ACV drink 3 times daily. As ACV works to draw toxins from the body acting as a sponge, it is recommended that you dilute it with water or juice & that you do not ingest it by the spoonful, this could cause you some discomfort. Try the following recipe: 1-2 teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar with 1-2 teaspoons of raw organic honey mixed in a glass of distilled water. Honey has proven bio-active properties & contains vitamins & enzymes to aid digestion & metabolism.
>Carrots
Helping to maintain the outer layer of the skin, carrots are beneficial to prevent premature aging.
>Citrus Fruits
High in Vitamin C and anti-oxidants, citrus fruit works to hold the skin cells together by forming collagen. Collagen cannot be added to the skin topically, which is why fruits are such an important part of the daily diet. But be warned, consuming too much vitamin C can lead to breakouts, so watch your intake an remember, a bit of everything is only good in moderation.
>Cod Liver Oil
Cod liver oil supplies you with essential fats (omega-3) and Vitamin D and A essential for skin rejuvenation. A teaspoon a day will do wonders to your skin, hair and general health.
